L'Amstel Art Gallery nasce dall'esperienza di Leandro Amstel Grasso, un collezionista d'arte italiano, responsabile vendite e videoreporter. Leandro Amstel è nato a Napoli il 29 aprile 1974 e ha aperto la sua prima galleria, la Amstel Gallery, a Milano nel 2008, durante la crisi economica, nella convinzione che le emozioni positive che trasmette l'arte debbano essere promosse soprattutto in tempi difficili. Nel 2011 ha deciso di esportare la sua filosofia positiva nella più vivace città europea, in cui la scena artistica è sempre all'avanguardia: Londra. La galleria si trova nel prestigioso complesso di St. George Wharf a Vauxhall, nel cuore del centro culturale ed economico di Londra, vicino al Tamigi e circondato da varie attrazioni, come il London Eye, le Houses of Parliament ed il Big Ben, la Battersea Power Station, il Chelsea Embankment e il Tate British Museum. La galleria è raggiungibile tramite metro, treno, bus o battello. Amstel Art Gallery presenta i migliori dipinti, sculture, fotografia, design contemporaneo, architettura e mostre tematiche; la Galleria attira l'interesse di un pubblico di tutte le età ed i ceti sociali. The Amstel Art Gallery was born from the experience of Leandro Amstel Grasso, an Italian art collector, sales manager and videoreporter. Leandro Amstel was born in Naples 29th of april 1974 and he opened his first gallery, the Amstel Gallery, in Milan in 2008 during the economic crisis, believing that beauty and positive feelings must be promoted mainly in difficult times. In 2011 he decided to export his positive philosophy in the most vibrant European city, where the art scene is a cutting edge: London. The gallery is located in the prestigious St. George Wharf complex in Vauxhall, in the heart of London’s cultural and economical hub, near the riverside Thames and surrounded by important landmarks such as the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament & Big Ben, Battersea Power Station, Chelsea Embankment and Tate British Museum. The gallery is accessible via train, tube, bus or boat. Amstel Art Gallery showcases the best paintings, sculptures, photography, contemporary design, architecture and issue-based exhibitions; the Gallery attracts interesting audiences from all ages and walks of life. We work with the best Italian pop artists, from Marco Lodola to Stefano Bressani, Willow Art, Andy Fluon and Fabrizio Bellanca. Now the Amstel Art Gallery also manages the General Archive of the greatest contemporary Italian light sculptor: Marco Lodola. La Amstel Art Gallery è orgogliosa di detenere l’Archivio Generale di Marco Lodola, incaricato della registrazione delle opere uniche su tela, perspex, scatole luminose e disegni su carta dell’artista. La raccolta di opere uniche archiviate ha raggiunto quota 350 ed al raggiungimento delle 500 opere archiviate, seguirà la pubblicazione cartacea dell’archivio. The Amstel Art Gallery is proud to manage the General Archive of the Italian artist Marco Lodola. The Archive is responsible for the registration of all the unique works on canvas, perspex, light boxes and drawings of the artist. Actually we have archived 350 unique artworks and once we reach 500 works, we will publish a complete paper catalogue.
